Kazimir Olechnowicz, Eng., M.Eng.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Cofounder, President and Chief Executive Officer, and senior partner at CIMA+, Kazimir Olechnowicz is head of strategic planning and manages business development and administration. He was a member of the Association des ingénieurs-conseils du Québec board of directors and was the association’s president in 1994-1995 and in 2004-2005. From 1996 to 2000 he sat on the Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada board of directors and management committee. He has also presided over the board of directors of the Association de l'industrie électrique du Québec (AIEQ) from 2010 to 2012.
Since 1997 he has been president of the Fondation Marcel Vaillancourt, an organization that helps disadvantaged children in Laval. He is also involved with the Fondation Martin Matte, an organization that helps people with traumatic brain injuries, as a board member and fundraising campaign co-president. Under his leadership, CIMA+ has distinguished itself in Canada and abroad.

André Couturier, Eng.
Executive Vice President
André Couturier has sat on the board of directors since 1998. He manages over 400 employees at CIMA+ offices in the Estrie and Montérégie regions. His professional leadership skills led him to develop and maintain the growth of the Industry sector in Quebec, Canada, and abroad. He is also responsible for the development of projects in other sectors in the Estrie region. André Couturier has played an active role in the development of Sherbrooke’s community and has held volunteer positions with various organizations for a number of years.

François Plourde, Eng.
Executive Vice President
François Plourde has sat on CIMA+’s board of directors since 1996. As Transportation vice president, he manages a team of over 450 employees across Canada. He is on the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Canada’s executive committee and a member of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering. He also has Fellow status with the Society, given in recognition of his excellence in the field of engineering and services provided to his profession. François Plourde is a member of the Association québécoise du transport et des routes and of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Laval.

Marc Cantin, Eng., M.Eng., PMP
Vice President
Marc Cantin joined CIMA+ in 1995 and became partner in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke and also has a master’s degree in engineering management. Marc Cantin specializes in the study of electric networks and has developed his expertise in electricity production, transmission, and distribution.

André Chaumont, Eng.
Vice President
André Chaumont manages CIMA+’s Gatineau and Ottawa offices, and oversees follow-up of operations and strategic development in the National Capital Region. As a manager of several mandates for development projects in Ontario and Quebec, he ensures overall project management including schedule and budget control as well as technical plan and specification reviews. He has been vice president of the Chambre de Commerce de Gatineau (CCG) board since 2010 and manages the infrastructure committee. He also sits on the sustainable development committee for the City of Gatineau’s land use and development plan as the CCG representative.

André Desjardins, Eng.
Vice President
André Desjardins is an electronics and telecommunications engineer. He has been responsible for all of CIMA+’s information technologies since 1993 and manages a team of over 60 employees. He is also in charge of business development, strategic planning, recruitment, training, and resource management. André Desjardins ensures that all engineers, technicians, and experts working in the New Technologies sector respect schedules, budgets, and service quality for all mandates they are granted.

Brian Fahey
Vice President
In 2009 Brian Fahey merged his company Fahey et associées, of which he was president, with CIMA+. His experience in urban planning and landscape architecture spans 30 years. Brian Fahey is a partner and is responsible for environmental services, the sustainable development policy, and marketing. He is widely recognized for his skills in business development, strategic planning, and land management and development.

Pierre Moffet, Eng., M.Sc.
Vice President
Pierre Moffet has been vice president since 2005 and manages CIMA+ offices in Quebec City, Lévis, Rivière-du-Loup, Rimouski, Sept-Îles and Chandler. His technical and organizational contribution is invaluable to the firm. With a master’s degree in civil engineering, specialization in structure, Pierre Moffet has built an outstanding career by contributing to several large-scale, structuring projects. His cutting-edge designs have earned him the recognition of his peers in the hospital, institutional, commercial, and transportation sectors.

Jean-Pierre Normand, Eng., PMP
Vice President
A graduate of Kingston Ontario’s Royal Military College, Jean-Pierre Normand has over 30 years of project management experience. He has built an enviable reputation in large-scale projects, important contract administration, procurement and construction project management. His solid expertise allows him to understand all problems that occur within organizations and grasp the complexity of challenges related to market globalization and change, and how these affect company management.

Marcel Théberge, B.B.A., M.B.A., D.E.S.S., C.M.A., Adm.A.
Vice President
Marcel Théberge holds a bachelor’s degree in administration from Université de Sherbrooke and an M.B.A. from Université du Québec à Montréal. He also has a graduate diploma in management accounting and has been a member of the CIMA+ board of directors since 1998. Marcel Théberge is responsible for accounting services throughout all CIMA+ offices. He is a member of the Ordre des comptables en management accrédités du Québec and of the Ordre des administrateurs agrées du Québec.
