Chairman of the Board

Gérard Geoffrion is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and chairs the Audit Committee.

For more than 20 years, he held the position of CEO at Van Houtte and contributed to the international growth of Keurig Green Mountain. Before that, he worked in strategic planning, finance, and the acquisition and sale of companies for a dozen years, and as an industrial engineer for six years. He chaired the Board of Directors of the Association des MBA du Québec, and was a member of the Cercle des présidents du Québec.

His involvement as an independent director

Gérard is passionate about mergers and acquisitions. He is a director and member of advisory committees for several major Canadian firms. Drawing on his experience as an independent director, he is a valuable asset for CIMA+, whose growth plan must unfold organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

The keys to ensuring a successful acquisition

A shared culture, the right business strategy and the right price. According to Gérard, these are the three keys to a successful acquisition. The biggest challenge is to analyze the human component effectively, and this is the aspect of his work as a corporate director that he finds most interesting.
