Tom Montgomery joined CIMA+ in 2010, as Partner and Vice President, Infrastructure for the Greater Toronto Area. He is now the Regional Executive Vice-President for Ontario and responsible for operational management, strategic growth and business enhancement across the region.
With over 35 years of progressive industry experience, Tom is a dedicated provider of quality and innovative consulting engineering services to a wide variety of clients. Before joining the firm, Tom held various senior leadership roles in specific consulting market sectors, as well as multi-discipline geographic areas, and day-to-day operations.
His main challenges
Tom’s business objective is to ensure the firm’s growth in all areas of expertise while solidifying its presence in Ontario in important and valuable markets such as water, municipal infrastructure, energy and transportation. To do so, Tom believes that sustainable growth and fostering innovation by investing in people and technology are key.
His moments of pride
Backed by extensive experience in municipal and environmental engineering, including 25 years in senior leadership roles, Tom considers himself fortunate to have been involved in many major projects aimed at improving the security and resilience of drinking water and wastewater infrastructure assets. He believes in the value of reaching farther on behalf of his clients to bring these projects to life.
