Pavement Condition Assessment at the Brandon Municipal Airport

CIMA+’s expertise combined with funding from the Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP), made it possible to rehabilitate runways that were nearing the end of their useful life cycle.

The Brandon Municipal Airport airside pavements were last rehabilitated in 2001 and in need of repair. The City of Brandon hired CIMA+ to perform a Pavement Condition Assessment to support Transport Canada’s ACAP application and provide detailed design and construction administration. The project involved pavement rehabilitation on Runway 08-26, Taxiway Alpha, Taxiway Bravo and the main apron.
