At CIMA+, we recognize the importance of compliance with applicable requirements and, in keeping with our values of integrity and excellence, we choose to obtain certifications that are recognized as guarantees of trust.

QUALITY

Our Quality Management System (QMS) is certified as being in conformity with the ISO 9001:2015 standard by Intertek.

The scope of the ISO 9001 certificate excludes CIMA+ Construction Inc., Pragtec Inc., Eramosa (Engineering Inc.; International Inc.), and B&A Studio Inc., the Barrie, Beauce, Bécancour, Calgary – Downtown, Guelph, Red Lake, Sorel-Tracy, Terrace, Toronto, Thunder Bay and Victoria offices, the TES software, the TEMPUS online migration tool, and the CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) inspection service.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Our Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of legislation and of our stakeholders and reflect our core values.

We currently hold Certificates of Recognition (COR) for our HSEMS in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

PROFESSIONALS SERVICES

CIMA+ holds the necessary permits, certificates, or licences in the following jurisdictions.

For the practice of engineering and geoscience

  • British Columbia – Permit to Practice Licensed by Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
  • Alberta – Permit to Practice issued by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
  • Saskatchewan – Certificate of Authorization issued by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
  • Manitoba – Certificate of Authorization issued by Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
  • Ontario – Certificate of Authorization issued by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Ontario – Certificate of Authorization issued by Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO).
  • New Brunswick – Permit to Practice issued by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB).
  • Nova Scotia – Permit to Practice issued by Engineers Nova Scotia.
  • Newfoundland and Labrador – Permit to Practice issued by Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL).
  • Prince Edward Island – Certificate of Authorization issued by Engineers PEI.
  • Northwest Territories/Nunavut – Permit to Practice issued by the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG).
  • Yukon – Certificate of Authorization issued by Engineers Yukon.
  • Note that in Québec, companies are not subject to this requirement. Each engineer holds their own permit to practice issued by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec – (OIQ).

For the practice of architecture

  • Ontario – Certificate of Practice issued by the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).

For the practice of land surveying

  • British Columbia – Permit issued by Association of British Columbia Land Surveyors (ABCLS).
  • Alberta – Permit to Practice issued by the Alberta Land Surveyors’ Association (ALSA).
