  • Job Description
  • We are looking for a Bridge and Engineering Structure Inspection Technician to join our large Transport team. Your role will be to support the engineers in inspection and assessment mandates and you will have the opportunity to work on major multidisciplinary projects such as the Olympic Park, the Ville-Marie Tunnel, the REM, the Île aux Tourtes Bridge and the Bonaventure Expressway

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Carry out aerial signalling and electrotechnical inspection mandates with the various parties involved  
    • Inspect and help validate the inventory of bridges and other structures (culverts, walls, etc.)  
    • Use various access methods (ropes, gondolas, walkways, etc.)  
    • Carry out damage surveys  
    • Participating in the preparation of studies and technical reports
  • Profile
    • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in civil engineering 
    • Training in worksite safety (ASP Construction card) 
    • Fluency in spoken and written French 
    • Strong interest in collaboration and teamwork 
    • Valid class 5 driving licence and class 3 (an asset) 
    • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces 
    • Willingness to work nights if required 
    • SPRAT 1 rope access certification (an asset)
