Daniel J. Matthews holds the position of Regional Executive Vice President in Western Canada and is responsible for operational management, strategic growth and business enhancement across the region.
With over 25 years of experience in Canada’s energy and infrastructure industry, Daniel has a strong focus on identifying emerging trends and opportunities in infrastructure development, particularly addressing the unique challenges and needs of the Western Canada region.
Before joining CIMA+, he served as Vice President at WSP, where he worked closely with teams across provinces and territories to deliver tailored solutions that met the diverse needs of communities, businesses, and organizations.
Prior to this role, he held several key positions at WSP, including Director, Projects (2018-2022), and Senior Project Manager (2011-2018), where he led the design and implementation of numerous complex projects across various sectors. His career path demonstrates his expertise and commitment to supporting sustainable, forward-looking infrastructure solutions that are built to stand the test of time.
