Migration of a pumping station multiple systems

For this pipeline pumping station, TEMPUS was utilized to migrate multiple systems to a new M580 platform.

CIMA+ worked as a system integrator and owner’s engineer while executing the online cutover in multiple cabinets.

The PLCs at this facility were upgraded from approximately 1980s vintage processors to the present generation Schneider Electric/Modicon controllers. CIMA+’s scope was to apply TEMPUS live cutover technology to those portions of the process that could not be interrupted.

A study on the effectiveness of TEMPUS compared to traditional cutover/migration methods was also prepared for the client as part of the project close out.
