The Société de transport de Laval (STL), in partnership with Ville de Laval, retained the services of CIMA+ to assist in the implementation of bus priority measures (BPM), including transit signal priority (TSP) systems. The expertise of CIMA+ made it possible to identify the best scenario for each intersection, thus reducing trip times for users, increasing travel speeds for buses and improving the economic efficiency of travel, with a view to increasing the modal share of public transit and thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
