The City of Disraeli drinking water production plant processes 2,700 m3 of water a day. The process consists of using a greensand filtration system to remove manganese, and a nanofiltration system to remove organic material. Water disinfection is done through ultraviolet radiation and chlorination processes. Once processed, water is transferred to the Saint-Joseph reservoir, and distributed through a pumping system. The upgraded drinking water production plant is fed by a groundwater catchment system. The project also included the reconstruction of the reservoir and distribution system.
Upgraded facilities to ensure quality drinking water.
