  • Mission

    We're looking for a senior electrical engineering technician to join our dynamic team.The communication systems team provides services for CIMA+'s various business sectors: transportation, building, infrastructure and energy. You will be involved in the various stages required to carry out engineering projects in different design fields, including: Intelligent transportation systems, wired and wireless telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, IT infrastructure, video surveillance, access and intrusion control.

    The mentoring and resources made available to you will enable you to complete the projects entrusted to you to CIMA+'s own standards of excellence.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Work closely with engineers on large-scale projects
    • Carry out field surveys to gain a thorough understanding of existing issues before implementing recommended measures.
    • Ensure that drawings produced meet project requirements, according to established practices and standards
    • Studying problems and proposing solutions
    • Monitor various electrical engineering projects
    • Prepare quantity and cost estimates according to established methods
    • Participate in the production of plans and specifications, process and analyze data
    • Apply quality control procedures
  • Profil recherché
    • College diploma with specialization in electrical engineering
    • 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering
    • Good knowledge of the Québec Electrical Code
    • Ability to design and prepare cost estimates, specifications and technical reports
    • Excellent planning, oral and written interpersonal communication skills (French)
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite software
    • Construction site safety card (ASP)
    • Knowledge of intelligent transport systems and electrotechnical equipment (an asset)
    • Experience in consulting engineering (an asset)
