  • Mission

    Our Project Management team is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and design of large-scale projects for a major institutional client in the educational sector on Montreal's South Shore.

    You will play a key role in coordinating the design process with the professionals retained by the client, lead communications and approval requests with the client's government partners (various ministries, municipalities, parapublic organizations, etc.), support the preparation of the business case by the client's internal teams, and manage the consultative processes with school teams and property management resources (internal clients: principals, teachers, pedagogical advisors, operations and maintenance, logistics, development).

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage large-scale projects ranging from $30 million to several hundred million dollars
    • Participate in pre-project studies
    • Ensure that the professionals involved respect customer needs and the established budget
    • Ensure that professionals respect the functional, design and technical needs and standards established by the customer and ministerial requirements
    • Help stakeholders find solutions to ensure sound project management and implementation
    • Intervene with managers to resolve issues that may affect profitability, schedules, suppliers or on-time delivery
    • Prepare and lead follow-up meetings with the customer and other partners to ensure that the project runs smoothly
    • Be involved in all operational and strategic project management activities

  • Profil recherché
    • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering
    • Member of OIQ or OAQ
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management
    • Proven experience in design management
    • Knowledge of construction and project management
    • Excellent adaptability and autonomy
    • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to collaborate
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Project management experience with Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) an asset
