Exo Bus Electrification Program

Exo plans to electrify its bus network with a mission in accelerating the energy transition of Quebec to meet the government’s GHG emission reduction targets. This initiative is supported by a grant application from the Government Assistance Program for Public Transit Infrastructure (PAGITC).

CIMA+ conducted a climate resiliency analysis specific to the location of the construction of two future bus maintenance and charging garages, developed a GHG emissions inventory and provided mitigation measures and for exo in accordance with the MTQ requirements for climate assessments.

The project consisted of the following four main scopes of work: the construction of two garages in the Sainte-Julie and Presqu’Île sectors, installation of a charging infrastructure at the Sorel garage and the acquisition of city buses.
