  • Mission                                                          

    We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Sorel region. The ideal candidate has expertise in automation related to heavy industry and will be called upon to play a diversified role within our client’s group.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide support for the client’s operational, maintenance and engineering teams with respect to distribution system
    • Conduct surveys for industrial equipment to be installed  
    • Identify the required control and electrical equipment 
    • Prepare drawings and specifications for installation
    • Oversee the transfer of changes to operators and the engineering team  
    • Assist with on-site construction work  
    • Participate in the commissioning of equipment  
  • Profile
    • University degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 8 years experience in low and medium voltage electrical distribution
    • Proficiency in French; knowledge of English is an asset  
    • Knowledge of control equipment (VFD, MCC, Ethernet network) 
    • ASP Construction card 
    • Experience in consulting engineering is an asset
