  • Job Description

  • Mission                                                          

    We are looking for a site supervision technician to join our fast-growing team of more than 50 passionate individuals working on major projects for the reconstruction and construction of bridges, engineering structures and pavements, such as the reconstruction of the Ville-Marie, Viger and Louis‑Hippolyte‑La Fontaine tunnels, construction of new bridges on Highway 35 and Highway 19 and of a new access ramp on Highway 15, as well as the delivery of several other major reconstruction projects in the Greater Montreal Area.  

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the team responsible for the delivery of projects involving bridges, engineering structures and pavements to ensure monitoring of ongoing works in the Greater Montreal Area
    • Ensure work supervision and participate in solving problems on construction sites 
    • Compile quantitative data on construction sites and submit them to engineers
    • Provide information related to the interpretation of final drawings and specifications to enable the contractor to carry out the required work
    • Monitor work progress based on drawings and specifications  
    • Prepare recommendations for work acceptance and deficiency list   

     

     

  • Profile
    • Diploma of college studies (DCS) in civil engineering or an equivalent
    • At least five years of experience supervising construction sites in the framework of projects for the MTQ or other public companies in the same area (transportation infrastructure assets, bridges, and engineering structures)
    • Completed OHS training for construction sites (ASP Construction card)
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Fluency in spoken and written French
    • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
    • Available to work nights or weekends as required
