- Job Description
Mission
We are looking for a railway or road Engineering Technician to join our transportation group. You will support our engineers on projects for our clients such as CN, CP, Rio Tinto, Transport Canada and EXO.
We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in the metropolitan area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis
- Design transportation infrastructure
- Prepare digital terrain models
- Design track geometries in plan and profile
- Calculate quantities of required materials for the project
- Provide technical support and monitoring for project managers
- Profile
- College diploma (DCS) in civil engineering or equivalent training
- A minimum of three years experience in railway or road projects
- Knowledge of basic geometric design criteria
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, OpenRoad software
