- Job Description
Mission
As a site development engineer, join a team dedicated to the delivery of urban infrastructure projects of all sizes, including major projects such as the redevelopment of Guillaume-Couture Boulevard.
You will be responsible for designing engineering structures in the site development market for projects of various sizes.
Our flexible hybrid work policy will allow you to work alternately in our Quebec City office and from home.
Primary Responsibilities
- Write concept reports, conduct specific technical studies, feasibility studies, preliminary designs, produce functional and technical drawings and technical specifications for site development projects (civil component).
- Carry out the design of sewer, water and other underground infrastructures, as well as roadway structures, sidewalks, and the development of public places, while ensuring coordination between the various departments involved in the projects.
- Meet with clients, present projects, plan needs, attend coordination meetings.
- Ensure follow-up of ongoing projects, including requests for payment, change orders, documentation approval, etc.
- Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of five years experience in civil engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Command of the French language, both spoken and written
