  • Mission

    Reporting to the main Manager, Proposals, the incumbent is responsible for the development of proposals in response to calls for tenders for the Building and Infrastructure groups. For the proposals under their responsibility, the advisor is responsible for coordinating the activities, tasks and input of the various people involved in the process, for drafting the proposals in close collaboration with the internal, multidisciplinary teams and with business partners (consortiums or subcontractors), for ensuring that the deadlines are met, and final proposals are submitted in accordance with the quality standards and the necessary rigour.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Analyze tenders, identify key elements, and participate in business strategies in order to submit competitive and high-quality proposals.
    • Coordinate the preparation of proposals under their responsibility: organizational chart, methodology, showcasing of resources, coordination of the secretariat, graphic design, financial proposal (when applicable).
    • Follow up on deadlines and monitor the progress of proposals.
    • Draw on internal expertise, skills, and resources to build and formulate value-added proposals.
    • Develop and use best practices to improve the efficiency of the proposal and tender response process.
    • Prepare project managers for the interviews required for major tenders.
    • Contribute to the improvement of processes and optimize existing tools to improve the quality of proposals or the business development process.
  • Profile
    • Bachelor’s degree, DCS or ACS in linguistics, communications, marketing, administration, or another relevant field.
    • Five years of professional experience in a position with similar responsibilities: project delivery in the engineering field, technical writing, or development of proposals.
    • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment (major asset).
    • Fluency in French, spoken and written, developed sense of organization, very good management of time and priorities, ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
    • Flexibility and advanced use of office automation tools (M365) and information technology.
