Mission
In order to carry out a wide range of industrial projects in the energy and resources field, our highly qualified structure team is looking to add to its expertise a technician with good analytical skills and proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD software. In particular, the industrial structural technician will be required to conduct structural projects, taking part in the design and delivering drawings that meet CIMA+'s high standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications
- Produce structural construction plans
- Assume responsibility for compliance with the quality assurance system requirements
- Solve technical problems requiring in-depth research and analysis
- Develop and prepare models and structural plans using softwares
- Coordinate with other disciplines (process mechanics, architecture, electromechanics, civil engineering)
- Review concepts and deliverables
- Conduct field surveys
- Provide technical assistance to site supervisors
- Assist with the verification of drawings
- Profile
- College diploma ( DCS ) in civil engineering, architecture or equivalent
- Minimum of two to five years' relevant experience in industrial and/or commercial/institutional/residential structures
- Excellent command of REVIT and AutoCAD software
- Experience in structural drawing
- Knowledge of structural design norms and standards
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling / BIM is a considerable asset
- Valid driving license and vehicle
- Fluency in French, oral and written
