  • Mission

    The role of the BIM Coordinator/Manager will be to support team members in technical mechanical modelling and to illustrate this in the context of BIM/REVIT, to enable them to achieve project objectives, to develop work processes (families, blocks, templates, BIM management plans, etc.), and to ensure the application of drawing and modelling standards for services rendered.

    We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in the metropolitan area.

    Responsabilities

    • Ensure multidisciplinary coordination of mechanical and electrical models
    • Supervise the application of BIM processes specific to mechanical and electrical disciplines, within the framework of multidisciplinary projects and participate in their improvement for the entire Building sector
    • Create 3D models in compliance with the requirements of a BIM management plan
    • Perform interference detections for the mechanical-electrical team and oversee the resolution of interdisciplinary issues in collaboration with the BIM coordinators of the other disciplines
    • Support the discipline BIM manager in the application of various BIM uses for the mechanical-electrical disciplines
    • Manage mechanical and electrical models on the BIM360 platform
    • Model mechanical and electrical components using REVIT
    • Create families and content for REVIT
    • Provide technical support for REVIT users
    • Ensure compliance with drawing and modelling standards for mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Profile
    • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in building mechanics
    • Five to ten (5–10) years of relevant experience
    • Proficiency in REVIT software
    • Technical knowledge to model electromechanical equipment (dimensions of mechanical systems, selection of HVAC equipment, plumbing, etc.)
    • Good command of the BIM360 platform and Dynamo; Programming, an asset
    • Fluency in spoken and written French and English; Bilingual proficiency is a critical requirement for this role, as it ensures effective collaboration with our diverse set of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies nationwide
