  • Mission

    Join our Energy & Resources team and become part of the Testing & Special Projects team for on-site assignments. You'll be at the heart of the implementation of cutting-edge electrical engineering solutions, taking an active part in the development and execution of projects ranging from industry to renewable energies and electrical substations. Your expertise will be crucial in the design and animation of power systems, guaranteeing performance and technical support for our customers.

    This role will require you to travel, apply your varied technical skills and directly influence customer success and satisfaction. Enjoy professional guidance and opportunities for advancement in a company where dynamism and competence in electrical engineering are at the forefront.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Perform pre-operational testing and commissioning of electrical substation equipment.
    • This involves electrical switchgear and equipment as well as automation, control and protection systems.
    • Carry out information surveys at industrial and energy customers.
    • Occasionally write/comment on specifications for electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, control panels and protection);
    • Occasionally called upon to prepare plans and specifications for electrical work in the industrial and energy sectors.
  • Profile
    • DEC in electrodynamics or industrial electricity;
    • More than 2 years' experience;
    • ASP Construction card;
    • Mobility, in Quebec and the rest of Canada on occasion;
    • Ability to communicate/collaborate with co-workers, other workers and customers;
    • Ability to write technical reports;
    • Attention to detail, always aiming to deliver superior quality work;
    • Be proactive and look for opportunities to better serve customers;
    • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances;
    • Experience in testing and commissioning electrical equipment and systems and/or substation testing are assets;
    • Experience in consulting engineering is an asset;
    • Knowledge of medium and high voltage switchgear and equipment is an asset;
    • Knowledge of SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens and Schneider protection relays is an asset;
