  • Mission

    We are currently seeking a Marketing Advisor to join our dynamic Marketing team. Reporting to the Regional Team Lead of Marketing & Communications, the successful incumbent will support Ontario with all marketing-related activities. 

    Marketing Strategy and Project Management 

    • Support the Regional Team Lead with marketing efforts in Ontario
    • Coordinate tradeshows, client events, client list, advertising for regional needs
    • Coordinate and oversee region-specific award submissions
    • Support digital marketing initiatives, as needed
    • Support corporate initiatives such as advertising in regional magazines and on specialized websites

    Sales Support 

    • Coordinate the development of marketing collateral and presentation materials to support regional initiatives
    • Work closely with various project teams across multiple disciplines and subject-matter experts to gain a strong understanding of industry-specific information
    • Support for events, webinars, presentations, etc.

    Social Media and Content Strategy 

    • Prepare and publish engaging blog posts, social media posts, and announcements for Ontario
    • Social media monitoring for all regions
    • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness and success of posts, ensuring optimal engagement and impact

    Soft Skills 

    • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an agile environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
    • Communication: Proficient in liaising with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including effective communication and presentation to senior leadership
    • Collaboration: Team player with the capability to work effectively with various teams beyond the Marketing department
  • Profile
    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing Adobe, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Excel, and social media platforms
    • Event Planning Expertise: Comprehensive experience in event planning, from initial research to seamless execution, including personnel management, logistics, marketing collateral creation, booth setup and takedown, sales, and post-event data collection and analysis
    • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with industry associations, partnerships, and complementary organizations
    • Administrative and Communication Skills: Strong administrative and communication aptitude, coupled with a natural flair for marketing and sales
    • Business Acumen: Possession of business acumen and a proven track record of successful collaboration in agile environments
    • Technological Savvy: Proficient in various social media platforms, Microsoft Office Teams, SharePoint, etc.

    Experience & Education 

    • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications
    • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline
