  • Mission

    We're looking for an Electrical Engineer or CEP to join our Energy and studies team. You'll be at the heart of projects in the renewable energy sector, mainly in Quebec. Working as part of our passionate electrical energy team, you'll benefit from expert advice and professional development opportunities. You'll also work on job sites and with customers to put your skills into practice in the field. This is a hybrid position based out of our office located in Montreal.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Ensure the engineering of various HV substation projects, from design to construction (grounding studies, model validation, interpretation of soil resistivity measurements, fault current distribution studies, etc.). 
    • Carry out studies of the impact of transmission lines on their environment (pipelines, communication lines, transmission lines, rails, audible noise, etc.) under steady-state and fault conditions. 
    • Interpret and incorporate relevant information from suppliers or other disciplines into design deliverables 
    • Produce high-quality study reports and technical opinions, with information presented clearly and concisely. 
    • Provide regular project status updates 
    • Complete project milestones on time and on budget
  • Profile
    • University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (a master's degree or higher is a definite asset) 
    • Member in good standing of an engineering order (OIQ or other) or willing to become one 
    • Experience in electrical engineering is an asset 
    • Experience with CDEGS, EasyPower, ETAP and/or Matlab software is an asset 
    • Attention to detail, always aiming to deliver top-quality work 
    • Proactive; looks for opportunities to better serve customers (internal and external) 
    • Fluency in French and English is required for this position in order to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our customers, partners and cross-functional staff at national level 
    • Ability to write clear, well-structured technical reports and to communicate clearly and accurately 
    • Willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement 
    • A valid driver's license is an asset
