The engineering profession has changed completely, and is a constant source of learning that is as stimulating now, as it was when I started.

Réjean Massé

, P. Eng.

Director

Réjean Massé is one of the founders of the Copac Inc., an engineering firm, which merged with CIMA+ in 1993. For the following 24 years, Réjean led the CIMA+ offices in Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski.

He was a member of the CIMA+ Board of Directors from 1993 to 1996, and from 2003 to 2012, in addition to serving as Vice Chairman. Again, a member of the Board since 2014, he also sits on the firm’s Audit Committee.

The challenges of marine engineering

Complexity: In 1975, Réjean began honing his skills in marine engineering, then a little-known field, about which he learned on the job. He is particularly proud of projects carried out on the St. Lawrence locks and in Puvirnituq, a village located in Nunavik, east of the Hudson Bay.

His involvement as a director

Sense of duty: Since joining CIMA+, Réjean has shared his financial skills with his colleagues. Effective at presenting the financial results of the various teams, it was only natural for him to accept the role of member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
