David Murray is Chief Operating Officer, and concurrently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Energy and Resources, overseeing the operations of the sector comprised of more than 650 people across Canada. He is also serving as director of the CIMA+ offices in the Eastern Township region of Québec. He will pursue his functions in this role until June 2023.
Committed to the promotion and advancement of the firm, Mr. Murray has been involved in various committees over the years, namely the Ethics Committee, whose mission is to ensure the proper practice of the profession at CIMA+. Furthermore, he still chairs the committee responsible for implementing the hybrid work model for the firm’s employees. He is also responsible for managing the roles and responsibilities of CIMA+’s office directors.
He sits on the Board of Directors of the AFG (Québec Association of Consulting Engineering Firms) and is the Québec representative for the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of Canada (ACEC). He also served as Chair of the ACEC Board of Directors for the 2021–2022 term.
