As Chief Operating Officer at CIMA+, David Murray is responsible for managing and directing the company’s day-to-day operations. He ensures that business processes are efficient and comply with defined quality, safety and performance standards.
David works closely with members of the Leadership Team to implement company strategies, ensure client satisfaction, optimize costs and ensure financial performance. In addition, he supports the vice presidents of the various sectors in their day-to-day activities.
Committed to the promotion and advancement of the firm, David Murray has been involved in various committees over the years, namely the Ethics Committee, whose mission is to ensure the proper practice of the profession at CIMA+. Furthermore, he chaired the committee responsible for implementing the hybrid work model for the firm’s employees. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees a committee responsible for managing the roles and responsibilities of CIMA+’s office directors.
From 2016 to 2023, he sat on the Board of Directors of the Association des firmes de génie-conseil — Québec (AFG). During this period, he also sat on the Board of Directors of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies — Canada (ACEC), which he chaired in 2021.
