Sherbrooke, February 27, 2017 – André Couturier, Vice President of the Estrie Region at CIMA+, endorses a new role within the organization by taking over the overall the development of major projects, both nationally and internationally. He will also ensure the promotion and development of TEMPUS, an exclusive tool designed by CIMA+, which is the newest technology for the online migration of control systems. The management of the Sherbrooke, Granby and Drummondville offices is now under the responsibility of Mr. David Murray; this transition took place on February 7, 2017.
André Couturier was entrusted with the management of CIMA+ Estrie in 1998, whose activities today widely exceed the regional market. Currently, with 250 employees in Sherbrooke, 15 in Granby and 5 in Drummondville, CIMA+’s sales in the Estrie Region exceed $30 M, 30% of which originate from outside the region.

Holding a degree in electrical engineering from Université de Sherbrooke since 2002, David Murray, a born entrepreneur, created his own consulting engineering firm that same year. In 2008, his firm joined CIMA+ and he rapidly became one of the organization’s key leaders. Over the last few years, David led the Buildings team in the Quebec Estrie and Montérégie Regions, as well as Western Canada. He also represents Quebec at the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC), a non-profit organization that has been the spokesperson for Canadian consulting engineering firms since its foundation in 1925.
