Laval, May 19, 2017 – CIMA+ is proud to have won the Grand Prix du génie-conseil in the Industry category for its TEMPUS online migration tool. André Couturier, Executive Vice President, and David Findlay, Senior Project Manager received the award on CIMA+’s behalf during the gala hosted by the AFG (Quebec Association of Consulting Engineering Firms), which took place at the Grande Bibliothèque de Montréal on May 15th.

TEMPUS is an online migration tool that allows for transferring the control of an industrial plant from an obsolete control system to another system, while keeping the system in operation. TEMPUS was used for a pilot project at the Suncor extraction plant in Fort McMurray, where an ODB 500HP centrifuge was migrated, without interruption to the plant’s operations.
