Laval and Calgary, October 3, 2016 — CIMA+, one of the largest private consulting engineering firms in Canada, is proud to announce that AGI Automation is joining the company, as of October 1, 2016.
“CIMA+’s solid background in industrial automation, combined with AGI’s specialized automation service offer in Alberta and British Columbia, will allow us to offer more in-depth expertise in this specific field of engineering,” says André Couturier, Partner and Senior Vice President responsible for the Industry Department at CIMA+.
AGI Automation specializes in industrial automation and currently has offices in Calgary, AB, and Prince George, BC. Mr. Garry Ingham, President of AGI becomes a partner of CIMA+, and his team of eight employees are joining the Industry Department, led by Mr. Gerald Desrochers, Partner and Senior Director.

AGI Automation, founded in 2004, began its operations in the oil & gas industry, primarily with a focus on controls for sour gas gathering and mainline compression systems. AGI has since added automation controls and integration services in the mining, manufacturing and lumber industries to its service offer. AGI’s major clients include Spectra Energy Inc. and Yukon Energy Inc.
