Appointment of Art Washuta as Vice President, Business Development for Western Canada

Calgary, March 19, 2018 – CIMA+ is pleased to announce that Art Washuta, P.Eng. has joined our team as Vice President, Business Development. With more than 35 years in the consulting engineering industry, Art’s distinguished career experience will add tremendous value to our growth in Western Canada.

A graduate of the University of Alberta’s Civil Engineering program, Art has gone on to lead a diverse career in planning, design, project management and construction management for transportation, heavy civil, infrastructure and environmental projects across Canada. Art has held various senior leadership roles in which he was responsible for driving growth, strategic planning and development, and building key client relationships.

Art has dedicated much of his career to the industry, above and beyond simply delivering projects. His involvement in countless committees, including as former board member of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Canada (ACEC), the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) Practice Standards Committee, and his term as President of the Consulting Engineers of Alberta, is a testament to his commitment to the engineering industry and its future.
