North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex Project

In 2017, CIMA+ broke ground on what is now the Surrey Sport and Ice Complex in partnership with Surrey-based Lark Group and in design partnership with Francl Architecture.

This unique facility is not only architecturally stunning, but also incorporates a number of accessibility features to ensure all members of the community can utilize the facility. Built just minutes from the Scott Lake Road Skytrain Station, this 110,000 square-foot facility is easily accessible to all.

Accessibility features include level access to the ice from the dry surface area; players’ boxes and clear penalty boxes to allow para-hockey players a clear view from their sleds; removable benches in the players’ boxes to allow para-hockey players to remain in their sleds when off the ice; fully accessible locker rooms and restrooms.
