Transportation and mobility plan

A guide to best practices in development and action planning.

Trois-Rivières is the 9th most populous city in the province of Québec. Over a period of decades, the presence of major trunk roads and the vastness of the surrounding territory have led to urban sprawl, with the result that the automobile is the leading mode of transportation. With a view to planning its development in synergy with its environment and the public, Trois-Rivières must update the management and organization of travel using all modes of transportation on the various networks within its territory.
