Myriam Hotte has been at CIMA+ since 2021, following the integration of TDA within the CIMA+ group. She is a partner and senior director for the Quebec North Shore region, and responsible for a team of 80 engineers and technicians working in our Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles offices.
Drawing on her experience in the areas of project management and site supervision in the private and public sectors, she successfully delivers her clients’ projects, leveraging the skills of engineering teams to provide quality services.
Motivation for joining the Committee
Myriam is convinced that the code of ethics is essential to CIMA+’s business, as well as proof of its commitment and determination to build sustainable relationships with its business partners, based on trust and mutual respect. The code of ethics is also a tool of choice for promoting the firm’s values and is paramount to ensuring sound governance, and decisions and actions that are fair for everyone. This clearly shows the firm’s commitment towards its employees, business partners, clients, and the community in general.
Her vision of ethics
Myriam has completed a university certificate in corporate governance and holds the title of certified corporate director. This program allowed her to acquire the fundamentals of ethical leadership in the context of governance and identify related best practices. Following is a summary of what she has learned: strategic ethics is a cultural rather than structural element. It is based on common sense and reflection, and allows for making the right decisions in times of uncertainty.
