As a CIMA+ partner for 11 years, I’ve shared, and still share, the values of cooperation and partnership that drive CIMA+’s leaders and employees.
Richard Régimbald was a partner at CIMA+ from 2001 to 2012 and became a board member in 2019.
Richard Régimbald cumulates 42 years of experience in structural engineering and project management. He has a vast experience in the areas of buildings, civil engineering structures and management of multidisciplinary projects. Montreal’s Convention Centre, the Desmarais Pavilion of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Langelier subway station and the Université de Sherbrooke building in Longueil are only a few examples of his work. Furthermore, he worked as a project manager responsible for several large-scale achievements, including the design and management of multidisciplinary projects, such as the replacement of the Olympic Stadium roof and the MIQro innovation Collaborative Center C2MI in Granby.
His decision to sit on CIMA+’s Board
Richard considers himself lucky to have worked at CIMA+ for the last eleven years of his career. This experience allowed him to appreciate the team spirit and the skills that make the company’s success. He personally gained a lot from this diverse expertise and as a member of the Board, he wants to give back to CIMA+.
His experiences that will be the most helpful in CIMA+’s growth
Richard’s 42 years of experience in engineering consulting firms, 40 of which, as a partner, have allowed him to overcome several challenges that CIMA+ will be facing in years to come. His experience in business mergers, human resource management in a growth context, maintenance of the ISO quality system and risk analyses will be particularly useful. Furthermore, his experience as a client in his role as Vice President, Planning – Engineering and Project Management at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport will be an important asset because of his in-depth knowledge of the requirements and constraints of clients.
