This summer, we had the great honour of welcoming Mr. John Tenpenny, editor of ReNew Canada in our Mississauga office.
He met with our colleagues Cian Murphy, P. Eng – Partner, Vice President, Major Projects, Canada, Vanessa Chau, P. Eng. MIAM – Associate Partner, Senior Director, Project Management and Yves Roland Mondou, Eng. – Partner, Senior Vice President, Project Management. Mr. Tenpenny was there to interview Vanessa Chau and to write an article on inclusion and diversity within the asset management community.
Spotlight on Vanessa Chau
Vanessa Chau joined CIMA+ in 2022 and oversees developing our asset management advisory service offer for our clients.
Vanessa Chau is an expert in her field. She was recently appointed Asset Management Program Consultant for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) — the largest transit agency in Canada. She is also one of the Women in Asset Management – WiAM North America’s founding board members and co-chair of leading the diversity and inclusion in Canada.
She is a voice for diversity and inclusion in the asset management industry.
“Because we enjoy each other’s ideas, we want to encourage other women to get involved in strategic asset management, share our experiences, develop the way forward for our profession — and sometimes we need to challenge behaviours together.”
