As part of the “Montréal–Trudeau International Airport Cityside Functional Program”, Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) plans to rebuild most of the ground transport infrastructure assets, including drop-off areas, multi-storey parking garages and the road network, and to commission the REM light-rail station and develop industrial and commercial sectors.
Within the context of this plan, CIMA+ conducted traffic analyses to assess the performance of proposed development designs as a function of traffic-flow demand over the long term. CIMA+ then proposed mitigation measures to resolve the traffic problems that were identified for the road network (airport, municipal and highway) and adapted the modeling to a number of construction designs and road network variants.
