Reconciliation action plan

In 2022, CIMA+ published a formal Reconciliation action plan (RAP). We firmly believe that this plan will enable us to challenge our current approach and determine how we can continue to do more to understand and support Indigenous communities. In implementing a reconciliation action plan, we aim to drive change by leveraging relationships, respect and opportunities.

Implementing our first RAP will help us achieve the following objectives:

1. Create a safe and ethical workplace that honours the history of Indigenous peoples to celebrate their culture and traditions.
2. Advancing economic reconciliation through entrepreneurship in partnership with Indigenous businesses and communities.
3. Integrate the principles of reconciliation throughout CIMA+ to establish the commitment of all employees to advance reconciliation.
4. Create innovative training, partnership and professional development programs to build and strengthen relationships with Indigenous peoples.
5. Deliver on our commitment towards corporate citizenship by being more inclusive of Indigenous Peoples in our projects, processes and policies.

Our Transmission and Distribution services

From everyday life to holiday celebrations, everything we do relies on the transmission of electricity from power stations, mainly through giant towers and underground systems. The importance of this infrastructure has been proven many times over. Transmission lines supply power to northern regions and large cities alike, over hundreds of kilometres of rugged terrain. Our Hydropower and Dams services

Over the years, CIMA+ has worked on more than 200 hydropower plants in British Columbia and all over Canada, ranging in size from 100 kW to over 1000 MW.
